how are you? Was your week-end great?
I'm so excited about the soon coming Fashion Weeks! Can't wait to see the new creations of my favourit designers so... What else is better than watch them in live streaming?? Luckily my friend Roz gave me a REALLY good suggestion! Her CatwalkLive.Tv!
Do you ask you what is CatwalkLive.Tv? It is a web-site that link you to live streaming services on YouTube, Style, Milkmade, First Comes Fashion and the designers web-site!! A dream!!
For this year it allows more shows to listed and the listings are easy-to-browse and very chic in their simplicity. I think that is so great the fact that EVERY Fashion Week is colour-code and there is an easy-to-navigate calender so you can see which catwalks are live on each day!!! So cute idea dolls!!
If you have a blog you can also add a widget which display a schedule that you can display on your blog!!

But... Who had invented CatwalkLive.tv? The gorgeous Roz!! This Louboutin-Addicted ( She knows the name of every shoes!!!!) created it in 2011 in order to simplify Fashion Week Live Streaming and she did everything ALONE! This is what I call PASSION, real passion for something!

1) What did it gave birth to Catwalklivetv?
 
I started CatwalkLive.TV out of sheer frustration. There were plenty of websites that list SOME of the shows live streaming, but none that listed ALL of them. To find out what was live streaming, you had to check Facebook, fashion forums, designer websites, fashion week websites, Twitter... so I do all the hard work so other people don't have to.

2) Why should choose Catwalklivetv instead of something else?

CatwalkLive.TV is the only place online that lists all the shows for all four fashion weeks. No other website does this. It also presents them in a calendar format so that you can see at a glance where there are gaps in the schedule, and it also shows start times in four different timezones. Finally, we have a reminder service on Twitter so that you don't miss any of the live streams.

3) What will you expect from NYFW this year?

I think in times of financial uncertainty, designers are taking fewer risks. I think it will be a very commercial, easy-to-sell offering from most designers, and many will be looking to live streaming and more creative ways of presenting their collections.

4) At last, your forcast on what we will see this year!

I always love the fall/winter collections for their layering, use of textures and silhouettes, so I hope to see a lot of this from all four fashion weeks. The trend has been for super-high platform shoes lately, so I'm sure this trend will continue. Live streaming is great for allowing people to see what trends there will be for the next season sooner than ever before.

Sono molto eccitata per le vicine Fashion Week! Non vedo l'ora di vedere le nuove creazioni dei miei stilisti preferiti perciò... Cosa c'è di meglio che poterle guardare in live streaming? Fortunatamente la mia amica Roz mi ha dato un gran bel suggerimento! La sua CatwalkLive.Tv!
Vi chiederete cos'è CatwalkLive.Tv? E' un sito web che vi rimanda direttamente una diretta in streaming da YouTube, Style, Milkmade, First Comes Fashione dai siti degli stilisti!! Un sogno!!
Per quest'anno si hanno un numero maggiore di shows elencati e queste listi sono più facili da navigare e molto chic nella loro semplicità. Penso che sia una cosa bellissima il fatto che OGNI Fashion Week sia colorata diversamente ed è presente un Calendario di facile navigazione così potrete  che sfilate sono in diretta ogni giorno!! Grande idea bamboline!!

E ora qualche domanda per Roz :

1) Cosa ha dato la nascita a CatwalkLive.Tv?

Ho iniziato CatwalkLive.Tv per pura frustrazione. Ci sono molti siti web che mostrano ALCUNI degli shows in live streaming ma nessuno che li mostri TUTTI. Per scoprire cosa c'è live devi guardare Facebook, forums sulla moda, siti degli stilisti, siti delle FW, Twitter...quindi ho fatto tutto il duro lavoro così le altre persone non devono più farlo.

2) Perchè dovremmo scegliere CatwalkLive.Tv invece di qualcos'altro?

CatwalkLive.Tv è l'unico posto online che mostra tutte le sfilate di tutte e quattro le settimane della Moda. Nessun altro sito lo fa. Le presenta anche in formato Calendario in modo che potete vedere a colpo d'occhio dove ci sono lacune nel programma, e mostra anche gli orari di inizio in quattro fusi orari diversi. Infine, abbiamo un servizio di promemoria su Twitter di modo tale da non perdereneanche un live streams.

3) Cosa ti aspetti dalla NYFW quest'anno?

Penso che in tempi di incertezza finanziaria, gli stilisti  stanno prendendo meno rischi. Penso che sarà molto commerciale, facile da vendere per la maggior parte dei designers , e molti saranno alla ricerca di live streaming e modi più creativi di presentare le loro collezioni.

4) E per ultima cosa, quali sono le tue previsioni su quello che vedremo quest'anno!

Ho sempre amato le collezioni Autunno/Inverno per la loro stratificazione, l'uso di texture e sagome, quindi spero di vedere un sacco di questo da tutte e quattro le settimane della Moda. La tendenza ultimamente è stata di super alte zeppe, quindi sono sicura che questa tendenza continuerà. Lo streaming in diretta è utilissimo per permettere alle persone di vedere quali tendenze ci saranno per la prossima stagione prima che mai.
