Rihanna capsule collection for Armani

another great fashion collaboration has been launched!
Rihanna, the singer who sold more than 35 million of records and 120 millions of singles in the world, is the new testimonial of the advertising campaigns for Armani Jeans and Emporio Armani and, above all, she has designed a capsule collection of jeans and lingerie items available in stores across the globe form mid-April.

The Rihanna for Armani Jeans collection consists of three pieces in denim, four t-shirts, a leather jacket and two bags in real classic American denim style with a touch of vintage.
As you know, Rihanna is famous for being a very sexy and feminine icon, it's surprising that the collection is so boyish. The denin jumpsuit, a simple tank top and a tartan fantasy remind an honesty and a durability that take its origin in the male style. But when you wear them, they evoke  a 50s pin-up style with a very sensual feel. For example the high-waisted shorts in denim délavé that reveals the tartan print when you roll them up. But the Rihanna's favourite piece is the romper, that she usually dress. It's in distressed denim with some holes and very soft at the touch. The skinny jeans, very stretch and sexy, have a bleach effect due to that the back pockets have been removed after the bleaching process and leaving the shadowy mark of where they were.
Another remarkable point are the four t-shirts. A black tank top with a denim pocket that has the Rihanna's logo on it. A dusty-pink one with her eagle+R logo in silver foil. Then a printed top with some cut-outs, featuring the same bird that you can find on the underwear. At last a maxi-long t-shirt with a cloud print that suggest the summer breeze. The leather jacket is skinny, sexy and iper-feminine in real Rihanna style. Closing the collection the two canvas bags in different sizes, the most vintage pieces.
The Rihanna for Emporio Armani underwear collection is a collection made of stretch cotton, very basic and comfortable for a daily use. The tank top and shorts are available in black or grey and have a rhinstone logo. The push-up bra and thong or panties are in teal or black with glitter logo in contrast and a personalised elastic. A micro-fibre series in shaded sky blue closed the collection and displays a micro printing and the inscription "Rihanna for Emporio Armani" across the elastic. This capsule collection has very affordable prices!

During few interviews, Giorgio Armani said " Rihanna is a great artist. She has charisma, personality and energy and has been a pleasure to work with her. She captures the contemporary and young essence of Emporio Armani Underwear and Armani Jeans perfectly" while Rihanna answered that " I have always admired Giorgio Armani and his elegant work; I never dreamed I would be able to collaborate with him to design unique, fun and modern clothing".

Armani-Rihanna will be a binomial of success... The class of Giorgio mixed with the sexy flair of Rihanna will be a must-haves in our closet for all the S/S.

un'altra splendida collaborazione a tema moda è stata da poco lanciata!
Rihanna, la cantante che ha venduto più di 35 milioni di dischi e più di 120 milioni di singoli, è la nuova testimonial per le campagne pubblicitarie di Armani Jeans ed Emporio Armani e, soprattutto, ha disegnato una capsule collection di jeans e capi di lingerie, disponibili nei negozi di tutto il mondo dalla metà di Aprile.

La Rihanna for Armani Jeans collection è costituita da tre jeans in denim, quattro t-shirts, una giacca di pelle e due borso in tipo classico stile denim americano con un tocco vintage.
Come sapete, Rihanna è famosa per essere un'icona sexy e femminile, quindi è stato sorprendente che la sua collezione invece abbia un'impronta da maschiaccio. Una tuta in denim, un semplice top e una fantasia tartan ricordano una purezza e un'solidità che prende le sue origini nello stile maschile. Ma indossandoli, evocano uno stile da pin-up anni 50 con un effetto molto sensuale. Ad esempio gli shorts sexy a vita alta in denim délavé che rivelano la stampa tartan arrotolandoli. Ma il pezzo preferito da Rihanna, che indossa sovente, è senza dubbio la tuta, anch'essa in denim délavé con effetto used ed è molto morbida al tatto. I jeans skinny, molto aderenti e sexy, sono sbiancati a effetto bleach senza le tasche posteriori, rimosse dopo il processo per lasciare il posto solo all'impronta più scura.
Un altro punto importante della collezione  sono le t-shirt. Un top nero con una taschina in denim e una spilla appuntata con il logo di Rihanna. Un'altra rosa antico con il suo logo eagle+R argentato. Eì presente anche un top con tagli con la stampa che riprende la fantasia del volo degli uccelli della linea di lingerie. E infine una maxi t-shirt con una grande nuvola che ricorda la brezza estiva. La giacca di pelle invece è molto aderente, sensuale e iper-femminile in pieno stile Rihanna. Chiudono la collezione le due borse in tela in diverse misure, i pezzi più vintage.

La Rihanna for Emporio Armani underwear collection è una collezione realizzata in cotone stretch, molto basic e confortevole adatta a un uso quotidiano. La serie formata da canotta e coulotte in nero o grigio presentano un logo in strass. I completi di reggiseno push-up con perizoma o slip sono in color cielo o nero con un logo glitter a contrasto e un elastico personalizzato. Una serie in microfibra in colore verde acqua con effetto sfumato e micro stampa con la scritta " Rihanna for Emporio Armani" sull'elastico chiudono la collezione. Questa capsule ha un costo molto inexpensive!

Durante numerose interviste, Giorgio Armani ha dichiarato " Rihanna è una grande artista. Ha carisma, personalità ed energia e lavorare con lei è stato un piacere. E' in grado di catturare perfettamente lo spirito contemporaneo e giovane di Emporio Armani Underwear e Armani Jeans" mentre Rihanna ha risposto che " Ho sempre ammirato Giorgio Armani e l'eleganza delle sue creazioni; Non avrei mai immaginato di poter collaborare con lui nel disegnare capi unici, divertenti e moderni" .

Armani-Rihanna sarà sicuramente un binomio di successo... La classe di Giorgio mixata alla estrosità sexy di Rihanna saranno un must-haves nei nostri armadi per la P/E.

Giorgio Armani and Lady Gaga for Born This Way Ball

it's Friday so let the week-end finally begin :)
I just saw the sketches that Giorgio Armani has created for Lady Gaga for her Born This Way Ball Tour in Asia and I have simply no words.
The class of Armani joines the ecletic Mama Monster Gaga and the result is an explosion of femininity, craziness and futurism.
The tour starts today from Seoul than moves to Hong Kong for the dates of 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 5th May, Tokyo the 10th, Singapore the 28th and will end in Australia and New Zeland.
Mr Armani created for Gaga four outfits with respective accessories.

The first outfit is a black body created by PVC tubes connected from studs, with metal insets that define the body shape. The look is completed by robotic boots, head gear coordinated and long gloves that end with metal claws.

The second one is also a body in shiny black PVC that focuses the shoulder with a series of spiky studs, crystals and long fringes. It is a real architectonic sculpture in movement. The look ends with high boots with black Swarovski elements and an important and geometric hat.

For the third look there is again a body but with transparent plexiglass decorations, guitars, black crystals and a led luminous installation create a multi-faceted image that reminds the cubist art. The head gear has the shape of a keyboard and the boots are made of black vinyl.

The last outfit has a nineteenth-century taste, with a long colour naked latex tunic with roomy sleeves. Flashes of light are created by PVC luminescent sheets on the triangle that decores the front of the dress, the hat and on the plateau of the latex boots.

As Giorgio Armani said " Working with Lady Gaga is every time a new experience. I like how she uses fashion as a scenic element to built her character. She is a talented person with a huge intelligence: create stage costumes for her is a creative exercise really stimulating"
This is the consolidation of the collaboration between Mr Armani and Lady Gaga, started in 2010 for the Grammy Awards and it continued the same year when King Giorgio created the outfits for The Monster Ball Tour. Lady Gaga was dresses by Armani also in red carpets and special occasions.

è venerdì e allora facciamo finalmente cominciare questo week-end :)
Ho appena finito di osservare gli schizzi che Giorgio Armani ha creato per Lady Gaga per il suo Born This Way Ball Tour in Asia a sono rimasta semplicemente senza parole.
La classe di Armani si è unita all'ecletticità di Mama Monster Gaga e il risultato è un'esplosione di femminilità, pazzia e futurismo.
Il tour inizia oggi da Seoul e poi si sposterà ad Hong Kong per le date del 2, 3, 4 e 5 Maggio, Tokyo il 10, Singapore il 28 e terminerà in Australia e Nuova Zelanda.
Mr Armani ha creato per Gaga quattro outfits e relativi accessori.

Il primo outfit è composto da un body nero creato con tubi di PVC connessi da borchie, con inserti metallici che definiscono la forma del corpo. Il look è completato da stivali robotici, copricapo coordinato e lunghi guanti che terminano con artigli di metallo specchiato.

Il secondo è ancora un body in scintillante PVC nero che focalizza l'attenzione sulle spalle con una serie di borchie appuntite, cristalli e lunghe frange. E' una vera e propria scultura architettonica in movimento. Il look finisce con stivalti alti con elementi di Svarovski neri e un importante e geometrico copricapo.

Per il terzo look è di nuovo presente un body ma composto da decorazioni di plexiglass trasparenti, chitarre, cristalli neri e un'installazione a led luminosi che da vita a un'immagine sfaccettata che ricorda l'arte cubista. Il copricapo ha la forma di una tastiera e gli stivali sono fatti di vinile nero.

L'ultimo outfit ha un sapore Ottocentesco, con una lunga tunica di lattice color nudo e ampie maniche. Lampi di luce vengono ricreati da fogli di PVC elettroluminescente sul triangolo che decora la parte frontale dell'abito, del cappello e sul platform degli stivali di latex.

Come ha detto Giorgio Armani " Lavorare con Lady Gaga è ogni volta una nuova esperienza. Mi piace il modo in cui usa la moda come elemento scenico per costruire il suo personaggio. E' una persona di forte talento con una grande intelligenza: creare costumi di scena per lei è un esercizio creativo molto stimolante"
Questo è il consolidamento di una collaborazione tra Mr Armani e Lady Gaga, iniziata nel 2010 per i Grammy Awards e continuata nello stesso anno quando Re Giorgio creò gli outfits per il Monster Ball Tour. Lady Gaga è stata vestita da Armani anche per numerosi red carpets e occasioni speciali.
