during my days in Milano I had the pleasure to make a great shopping experience at Diesel flagship store in Piazza San Babila 1/3.
Just because I made tons of pictures I decided to divide the post in three parts: The store, The collection ( included the Black Gold ) and The outfits.
First of all I must say thank you to Martina and Diesel staff who were so kind and sweet and told us all the story of the brand, the denim and the clothes.
The store is on 3 level ( man, Diesel World, kids and woman ) and at first sight the style is very urban and cosmopolitan like Diesel spirit.
The first level is about Diesel World with accessories, such as watches, parfumes, sunnies, helmet plus some clothes, and the fabulous Denim Lounge. I really suggest you to go there because in the Denim Lounge you can find the mirror of your dreams... The Diesel 360 is a mirror that reflects your image "in slow motion", that means that the image you see were you seconds ago so you can see for example how a jeans fit on you on your back watching in front :) Diesel let me say, you are a GENIUS!
Downstairs there's the Man World, with the all brand new collection dedicated to man while upstairs you can find the Kids and Women World with also the famous Black Gold collection ( the F/W collection was presented in NY during the fashion week!) . My final reflections about the store are:
- it really feels like home because the salespeople are so friendly and always have a smile upon their faces ( 10 points added, 'cuz I hate when they look at you like you are disturbing them );
- I find useful the panels with a pair of every kind of jeans exposed so you can touch it and see it without take them off shelves; I also enjoyed seeing the pants open hung on the wall because it gives you the immediate idea of how they fit;
- love the idea of the Fit Your Attitude and definetely adore the poster they put in the Women section, it can be used as a motivation quote. " Denim that does more than flatter your body, it fits your attitude" because the jeans guaranteed the most body-enhancing ever seen and the belt construction won't mark the waist ( ! ). Base on new body type research that involved taking the measurements of more then 20.000 women, these jeans help make your legs more longer and defined.
