I'm really really so excitet to write about a gorgeous discover that I made only few days ago... Maison Rana by amazing Rana Mouawad! I'm really schock about the talent, the sweetness and the clothes of this girl... When I first saw her productions I was breathtaking! The dresses, the tops have a line and a sophistication that really impressed me!
She is a Dubai woman and started Maison Rana in 2010... For the S/S Campaign of 2012 she creates three collections... CARNIVAL, CLASSIC and WINDOW OF LIFE! Agree to Rana we decide to dedicate my 3 next posts to her WHOLE (!!!!!!!) collections! I'm so happy to have met Rana, she is so a gorgeous and lovely girl and I think that she derserves a lot of success worldwide!
As Rana said to me " Everything that is beautiful and with a meaning inspires me, like art, music, culture, cities, architecture, etc. I love to design pieces which have stories. For the Carnival collection, the inspiration was a beautiful painting called The Carnival by a young artists names Noura Masri. Its a playful art piece and that's why the designs are also playful. For the Classics and Windows of life collection, I got inspired by a painting I painted and sold few years back, and its about doors and windows to life. That's why these pieces are geometric cuts and have arches in them. "

Come state? Spero che stiate passando un bel Mercoledì!
Sono molto molto eccitata di scrivervi su una mia recente scoperta che ho fatto solo pochi giorni fa... Maison Rana della fantastica Rana Mouawad! Sono davvero scioccata dal talento, dalla dolcezza e dagli abiti di questa ragazza... Quando ho visto i suoi prodotti per la prima volta sono rimasta senza fiato! I vestiti, i top hanno una linea e una sofisticatezza che mi hanno davvero impressionata!
E' una donna di Dubai e ha fondato Maison Rana nel 2010... Per la Campagna P/E per il 2012 ha creato tre collezioni... CARNIVAL, CLASSIC e WINDOWS OF LIFE! D'accordo con Rana abbiamo deciso di dedicare i miei prossimi 3 posts alle sue INTERE (!!!!) collezioni! Sono molto felice di aver incontrato Rana, è una bellissima e tenera ragazza che si merita moltissimo successo mondiale!
Come Rana mi ha detto " Tutto ciò che è bello e che ha un significato mi ispira, come arte, musica, cultura, città, architettura etc. Amo disegnare pezzi che hanno una storia. Per la collezione Carnival l'ispirazione mi è stata data da un dipinto bellissimo chiamato Carnival di un giovane artista chiamato Noura Masri.E' un'opera d'arte giocosa ed è per questo che i disegni sono anch'essi giocosi. Per le collezioni Classic e Windows of life mi sono ispirata a un quadro da me dipinto e venduto alcuni anni fa ed era su porte e finestre sulla vita. E' per tal motivo che i pezzi hanno tagli geometrici e archi in essi."
