January My Beauty Box

Hello lovelies
few days ago I received the January My Beauty Box ( that is a sort of Glossy Box ) completely dedicated to Kiehl's, an American label born in 1851 in a pharmacy in New York City East Village.
I was always curious to test their products but for some reasons I never tried.
The box is composed by the sixth skincare and bodycare main characters in mini size except for hand cream, which is almost a full size.

Crème de Corps : extremely moisturinzing cream, that leaves body skin soft and silky at touch.

Midnight Recovery Concentrate : essential oils elisir with natural elements, it should be used before night sleep so when you wake up face skin will be revitalize and fresh.

Ultra Facial Cleanser : make-up remover derivative from sugar, cleanes skin leaving it rehydrated.

Ultra Facial Toner : milky toning lotion it's like a make-up remover remover because it cleanes from remover rests and it also prepares skin to cream application.

Ultra Facial Cream : very light and soft cream, easy to be absorbed and protects skin in every weather condition.

Ultimate Strength Hand Slave : hand intensive treatment, easy to be absorbed and leaves hand soft and moisturized.

Rebirth of your closet

Hello lovelies
raise your hand if you have ever never said looking in your closet " OMG, I have nothing to wear" even if the wardrobe is full of clothes!
After lot of these awkward moments I decided to give a new life to my closet... Yes, it has no sense to continue buy stuffs if I have them but I cannot see :[
So yesterday I started my new personal program that I named "" Rebirth my closet" with one of my wardrobe to see if my experiment could be useful... and it is!
I was really satisfied about the result obtained so I think that sharing this program with you maybe could helpful for you as well :)

Printemps Précieux de Chanel 2013

if I look outside the window I only see snow but when I saw for the first time the new Chanel make-up collection I really feel Spring time!
Printemps Précieux is the name of the collection that is sold worldwide from 18th January and is already sold out everywhere.
Main characters of Printemps Précieux are romanticism, sophistication and lightness with soft pink, burgundy and plum as colors. All eyes are on the face powder that gives light to yours specific face points and let them shine.
Closed the collection the guaranteed polishes, the eyeshadows in duo or quadro, the blush, lipsticks and lip-glosses, eye-liner, lip-pencil and a mascara.

Look of the day: When the dress tells a story

Hello lovelies
sometimes also dresses tell story... This MsDressy is one of those that have something to say.
This dress tells that there was long time ago a little child who always watched images on fashion magazines of beautiful ladies with dreamy gown dresses and she thought every time " One day... One day I will have the same dress... Only for me...". Several years went by and the little child grew up with that thought in her heart... And today that child who is now a woman has the dress of her dreams with her.
The moral is that you never stop dreaming, even if it seems impossible it doesn't mean it can't happen... And I really wish you for this newcomer 2013 that almost one of your dreams will come reality!
Hope you will like even if my face is not the very best but I was a little sick these days :)

Interior design

it's been a while that I'd love to make this post so today is the right time :)
I love fashion, is my biggest passion together with animals and art, but another thing that drives me crazy is interior design! I like every kind of furnishing but my fave one is the shabby chic. So romantic, so peaceful, tranmits relax... So the post will be dedicated to shabby!

Mantù

Hello beauties
I never told you about my super love for Mantù, an Italian brand born from the "love" of the genial Gigi Vezzola and Castor SRL.
Gigi, who started his career in fashion world in 80s, worked for Krizia, Dolce & Gabbana, Samsonite Black Label in USA, Pirelli and Costume National, until 2008 when Mantù (from Italian city Mantova) gave birth.
This label is totally dedicated to a woman full of class and style who wants to transmit her elegance through glamorous and daily looks.
Here you can find a preview of the Fall/Winter 2013/2014 and believe is fabulous. I like so much the femininity of the dresses, the cut of the coats and the beautiful pattern!

Golden Globe 2013

Hello beauties
as you know, the 70th Golden Globe ceremony took place January 13 at Beverly Hilton Hotel in Beverly Hills hosted by Tina Fey and Amy Poehler.
I watched all the red carpet and, at the same time, I enjoyed reading the comments on Twitter ( you find me under @carolinaogliaro) about who was hot, who was not and trends. I read lot of negative comments about the hairdo and non existent make-up, do you agree?
Lot of dresses left me without breathe and other didn't impressed me so much, but today I wanna show with you my faves :) And of course I wanna know which are you favourite ones!

Look of the day:Life is an open road

how has your week-end gone? Mine so relaxing :)
The weather was pretty nice past days, so I could finally wear my new Sheinside coat matched with an eco-fur collar very warm.
This is also the first time that I used my new fab Israeli Collecte bag and I love it so much, it's so soft <3 If you like this bag you can buy it on Boticca and will be a great purchase because the quality is very high!

Ambra

Hello lovelies
I am always happy when I read about young girls who find success through their skills and I'm definetely happier when they come from my hometown :)
Ambra Pegorari is a photographer, born in 1986, talented and very appreciated in the photography and fashion world.
Self-taught, she is attracted by contemporary artists like Annie Liebovitz, Francesca Woodman and Alex Webb. Ambra is the main character in lot of her photos but she takes also inspirations from her trips, the most important in Kenya and Japan. The main themes in her creation are the light, natural and artificial, and the natural enviroment, in particular flowers, plants, animals and insects and she tries to focus the attention on the emotional charge of the images.
In 2011 Ambra started a collaboration with Vogue, in PhotoVogue section , where she uploaded more than 400 pictures and 7 of them were published in Vogue Homepage as "photos worthy of mention".
She won several contests, collaborates with several fashion magazines, her photos were published also on Traveller, exhibited at Milano SofàCafè, at Art+Commerce website and at event Womanade in Milano.
I'm so proud about this young girl, who really deserves lot of worldwide success for her visionary and special talent and I'm sure you will adore her photos as well.

Let the magic begins...

Hello beauties
how is your week going? Hope everything is fine :)
As some of you already knew, I spent some days in Edinburgh... One of the best parts of this city, that really charmed me, is the magic. I love fairytales, myths, legends and past histories and Scotland is the right place to find them!
A Scottish guide told me " If you didn't see it, it doesn't mean it doesn't exist and no one told it's real but no one told it's not real" so I think that sometimes it's good to believe in magic :)
I went to Loch Ness where it is supposed Nessie lives... There's a newspaper that will give 1 million pounds to the person that will send them a REAL picture of Nessie, so don't forget to the camera if you will go there :) I really loved that place, it seems to go to another dimension where the time stops... Quiete, silence and an immortal atmosphere. 
But the history of my heart is the one of Greyfriars Bobby... Bobby was a dog who lived in Edinburgh in 19th century who became famous because he spend 14 years guarding the grave of his owner John Gray until he died himself. His story became the emblem of the city for his loyality and devotion and I think that we can learn a lot from Bobby, as wrote in the sentence on his grave.
